January: Training puts on a “Sustainability at UBC” workshop at the UBC Student Leadership Conference
February: Tangible Solutions is approached by Land and Building Services and is delegated responsibility for allocating 20 new water fountains on campus!
March: Education implements the 2nd goBEYOND Teach-in at UBC, with 35 faculty participating. Education gives out first ReThink award!
May: Common Energy is accepted to attend as one of 16 participants of TAG’s second Sustainability Education Intensive, a 2.5 day workshop to help educators incorporate sustainability into their course, program or initiative
