“Green building is the practice of creating structures and using processes that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout a building’s life-cycle from siting to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation and deconstruction” (US EPA).

The Green Infrastructure Team has been focused on exploring green building strategies and how they have been implemented around the world. We are interested in applying this information to infrastructure at UBC, in the hope of expanding LEED-Certified buildings at UBC.
