Common Energy at the SLC

Common Energy had the *awesome* opportunity to present as a Highlighted Project at this year’s Student Leadership Conference. In its tenth year, the SLC brings together over 1000 undergraduate students in order to inspire, develop, and enhance the leadership community at UBC.

Common Energy presented on our structure, mission, and how the sub-groups came to be. The presentation used can be found here, if you’d like to check it out!

Our pre-conference video is below:

The SLC was an incredible forum through which to share our ideas and gain feedback from about 30 workshop participants. We really enjoyed connecting with Danna Batara, the Highlighted Projects Coordinator, and the other projects like our co-presenters from Our City of Colours. Kyuwon and I really enjoyed having this opportunity and hope to continue a strong relationship with all student leaders at UBC. Thanks to the SLC and everyone who came out to the workshop!
